Privacy
STILL is a demonstration advising service. This page says exactly what it keeps when you book, and who can read it.
Use made-up details
Every service and appointment time here is made up. When you try the booking forms on /book or /simple, enter a made-up name and an address such as alex@example.com. Please do not enter real personal details.
What is stored
When you reserve a session, the service saves:
- the name and email address you typed,
- the service and time you chose,
- a receipt reference, for example
STILL-4F92A1, - a random code your browser makes for each booking, so a double click cannot book twice, and a fingerprint of the request so a reused code can be recognised,
- a hash of your private key, never the key itself.
Where it is stored
Bookings are written to a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon.
Who can read it
Only whoever holds the private key issued with the booking. Your browser gets that key when the booking is made and uses it once to read the booking back. Asking the server for a booking without the key returns 401 and no personal details, and you can try this yourself on the receipt page. The public operator pages show only receipt references, time slot identifiers and timestamps. They never show names or email addresses.
Tracking
There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site.
Deleting your data
There is no deletion-on-request process, and none is promised. The data is made up, and the site administrator can reset the database at any time.
