Licence and use

Terms and licence

STILL is a demonstration with open source code. Here is what that means for you, in plain words.

What this is

STILL shows how a booking service can stay usable when its main form breaks. It does not book real advising sessions. The advisors, services and times are fictional.

No uptime promise

This is a demo. It may be slow, reset, deliberately broken (the ?broken=1 preview is meant to fail) or taken offline without notice. Do not rely on it for anything.

Capacity

Each time slot has limited capacity. If two people reach for the last place at the same moment, exactly one booking succeeds and the other is told the slot is full. A retried request with the same one-time code is recognised and does not book twice.

MIT licence

The source code is released under the MIT licence. In short, you may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell copies of it, as long as the copyright notice and licence text stay with it. It comes as is, without any warranty. The full text is in the LICENSE file in the repository: gitlab.com/vaibhav.lalwani/still.
